he Lift Assure Macerating Toilet Pump is a cost effective way of adding a macerator to any wall mount, rear outlet (p-trap), or Euro style toilet. The Lift Assure Macerating Pump will also allow you to add a shower/tub and a sink to any space that you will be turning into a bathroom. The pump is capable of lifting wastewater to 22 ft and has approximately 295 ft. of horizontal run with gravity assist. The heart of the macerator is a 1 horsepower motor that spins a sharpened stainless steel blade to chop and propel the wastewater.

The macerating toilet pump is capable of a flow rate of 38 gallons per minute. The built-in 1.5" inputs allow for easy plumbing. The Macerating pump has built-in backflow protection.

The included macerating toilet pump contains 3 ports; the main port that connects to the discharge pipe, and the two side ports that give you the option to connect a bathing unit and a sink. The system comes with multi-sized inlets complete with pipe clamps.

This bathroom system makes a perfect DIY project for homeowners looking to install a bathroom in the basement as well as a variety of other spaces without the need of breaking the concrete or the bank. This powerful unit features a double set of blades with internal "Impeller Blades" capable of clearing and pulverizing accidental flushes of common feminine products. Installation is a breeze with the Lift Assure Macerating Pump. The macerating pump can be installed up to 36" away from the back of the toilet, as long as there .25" drop per foot leading to the pump.

Install Information

Depending on your choice of toilet, the plumbing may vary. The piping and the pump can be concealed in the wall space. The centerline on the toilet input on the Lift Assure Macerator is 7.5". You will have to plan accordingly when installing the pump and roughing in the plumbing. When adding a shower hook up to the macerator, the base of the shower will have to be elevated so that the water will drain into the macerator. This is also true when adding tubs.

How It Works

The Lift Assure toilet includes a macerator that gets connected to the back of the toilet. Once the lever flush is triggered water and human waste makes its way to the macerator, where it gets ground into small particles. The waste particles then get pumped upwards and transferred from the basement to the home's main waste line. In addition, the same process applies if the grinder is connected to the sink and/or shower.
